Chris Gradoville

Chris was a standout football, basketball, and baseball player at Omaha Bryan High School. After his days as a Bear, he captained the Creighton baseball team to two NCAA tournaments and eventually lived out his dream to play professional baseball for the Texas Rangers.

His professional baseball journey led him to a woman that matched his kindness and zest for life. He and his wife, Nikki, met during his rookie season in 2007. They were married in 2012 and had tremendous impacts on each of the communities they lived in. Chris was a part of the Big Brother Big Sister program in Spokane, Washington. He mentored a young man named Charlie Perrey. The two met when Charlie was 10. Chris was the strong figure Charlie needed at this time in his life and the two developed a friendship that meant the world to Chris.

Chris also developed a health and nutrition program for the Spokane Fire Department. This program helped to improve their health and overall quality of life. His experience in athletics and expertise in personal training left a lasting impression on those first responders.

This camp will be a platform to instill the values and effort that Chris lived his life by. We hope to see your children at the camp and look forward to continuing the rich legacy Chris cultivated.
